Calling ALL attendees!! If you’re new to FCCMA, new to the profession, interested in getting to know future colleagues or looking for new talent, join us for this unique networking session. Use this fun format to sing your praises and share your resume, or to spread the word about possible upcoming opportunities in your organization or wax poetic about things you’ve learned over the years. To ensure a good ratio between those interested in growing their career versus those who are interested in learning more about these rising stars, please register for the event as either a “mentee” or a “coach.”

Christine Thrower-Skinner followed an unusual path to the city manager’s position. Along the way she worked for three different cities and as a nonprofit CEO. She took a leap of faith from a stable position of nearly ten years into the unknown as the village manager of Golf. She was dealt a sucker punch less than six months after she started, but soldiered through. Come hear how Christine managed through a terribly trying time with her teenage son while experiencing God’s grace in the middle of it all.
