"Social Media for Florida Local Government Managers"

Social media has evolved into the main source of information for many people world wide. Understanding the rapid changes involved in this technology, including costs, uses, and legal constraints is a requisite for today's local government professionals; yet many local government managers, and their key staff, have not been able to devote time to understanding even the basics of how social media is/can be used for their agencies and for their own professional benefit. Two highly respected city IT experts, Ron McKenzie and Karen Lanke, will present a program (in plain speak) that is designed to help local government professionals understand and navigate this important resource. This is a must session for everyone from the novice to the self proclaimed expert.
