2026 Fall Symposium: Leadership Under Pressure: Decision-Making, is a virtual event on December 10, 2026, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET. Have you completed your ethics training for fiscal year 2026? Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA) members are required to complete four hours of ethics training each year, and the Fall Symposium provides an opportunity to fulfill that requirement while exploring the complex challenges facing today's local government leaders. The symposium will examine how local government leaders can navigate competing priorities, political pressures, and public expectations while remaining grounded in ethical principles. Through expert-led discussions, case studies, and interactive panels, participants will dive into the complexities of Balancing Transparency with Ethical Responsibility; Making Ethical Decisions in Politically Charged Environments; and Rethinking Revenue: Creative Strategies for Community Priorities. The registration fee is $75 for members and $25 for student members who would like to attend. Questions? Contact FCCMA staff at fccma@flcities.com.
